On March 22 of this year, a poll was released showing that Kamala Harris was the front-runner for the 2028 Democratic nomination for President of the United States. This poll was reported in a news article at The Hill by journalist Ailia Zehra, who covers politics and human rights topics.
Unfortunately for Mrs. Harris, her favorability has slipped in recent weeks in the Democratic Party. By April 17, numerous news articles reported on a recent poll that showed New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in a "close second place" behind Harris. Miss Ocasio-Cortez, most commonly referred to as "AOC," has served since 2019 in New York's 14th Congressional district.
Devastating news to the Harris camp was reported on April 17, when pollster Nate Silver called AOC the "most likely" person to be the 2028 Democratic presidential nominee. Silver stated that AOC quality of being "media savvy" led him to this conclusion. The attached video from the John Talks 2 channel on YouTube provides a short review of these recent developments.
