Updates to this web article will follow throughout the afternoon

The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Resistance Robotics team is already rolling with the punches for the Great Northern Regional in Grand Forks. The night before they departed B-B-E high school for the Alerus Center on Wednesday, March 12, Coach Reed Adrian found out that the region match schedule was greatly altered due to an impending snowstorm slated to arrive in the region on Saturday. Altogether, across Thursday and Friday this week, B-B-E's team will compete in 9 qualification matches: four on Thursday and five on Friday.

The team arrived on Wednesday night after the four-hour drive into eastern North Dakota and unloaded the equipment and robot in the Alerus Center. On Thursday morning, they returned to the Alerus Center to get the robot rolling. The team's first qualification match is set for approximately 2 p.m., and they are paired with a team from Cando, ND and from Moorhead.
