Bitter cold has gripped the Bonanza Valley area this week. Temperatures plunged to 20 or more below zero on Monday night, February 10, with the temperature before school began shown in the attached photo on Tuesday, February 11. By 11:30 a.m. it rebounded to a "balmy" negative one degree. Negative 22 is in the forecast for Wednesday night. It's a great time to have wood heat, which is more and more rare today.
