Vaccine trials for young children is suspended (VIDEO)

Children age 5 and younger were enrolled in a vaccine trial for RSV in the United States, during which they were tested out with injections of a mRNA technology-based gene therapy drug.

Because of rampant concerns and safety signals coming from the trial, the program was shut down. The federal government's Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee made this announcement on December 12. In the announcement, data was revealed that showed that the group of children who were injected with the experimental drugs ended up getting 6 symptomatic cases of RSV. Here's where the big issue came up: the placebo group of children, who did not receive the drug injection, had only one case of RSV.

The attached video, which lasts 10 minutes, explains more. The study failed in the following categories: safety, tolerability and immunogenicity. According to Google AI, the definition of immunogenicity is "the ability of a substance to cause an immune response in the body. The immune response is a systemic response to an antigen, which is usually mediated by lymphocytes."
