At that time, the A.P. called the state of Wisconsin for President-Elect Trump, which, according to their count, set his ticket at 277 electoral votes compared to 224 for the Harris/Walz ticket.
In their headline posted online, the A.P. stated, "Trump elected President, his win is a remarkable political comeback rooted in appeal to frustrated voters."
