The Belgrade Commercial Club is hosting a Homecoming tailgating party on Friday, September 27 prior to the high school's football Homecoming game. This is in the midst of a super busy week in Jaguar Country that concludes with the B-B-E Class of 2024 Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Saturday, September 28.
The tailgating party features a FREE supper hosted by students and the Belgrade Commercial Club from 5:30 p.m. through kickoff at the high school shop area. They will serve free hot dogs, chips, cookies and beverages. ALL community members are invited, regardless of whether or not you plan to attend the football game.
In the attached video...you can go all the way back to head coach Chris Moscho's first season as head coach in 2010 with a short video from the Homecoming Tailgating Party held that fall. We are still determining which game that was in the 2010 season. Update: that video was recorded on October 1, 2010! On that night, the Jaguars hosted Maple Lake for Homecoming and took a 21-6 loss. They were in the midst of what was a 6-game losing streak, but they defeated Kimball Area in Week Eight to take a 2-6 record into the Section 4A playoffs. In the playoffs, they finished as sections runners-up after a 15-6 loss to Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City to go to the state tournament.
