Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa's 36th annual Homecoming Week began with an entertainment-filled coronation ceremony on Monday, September 23 at Olson Auditorium.
After Homecoming Dress-Up days were announced, a round of Homecoming games took place that included both underclassmen attendants plus the senior royalty candidates. Following those games, the coronation took place for Homecoming King and Queen, Brett DeRoo and Bree Thieschafer.
The first Homecoming coronation at B-B-E Senior High School took place in October 1989 at the former high school in Brooten, which housed grades 10-12 in the newly-paired school. The annual tradition has taken place without interruption every year since then, including during the "COVID" school year of 2020-2021.
