Former Brooten Mayor Larry Putz stepped up to serve as Interim Mayor in Brooten for the remainder of 2024. Putz fills the seat vacated by Thor Amundson, who resigned in August after he got married earlier this summer and then moved out of the city limits.
The Brooten city council will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. on Monday, September 23. They will be led for the second meeting since Interim Mayor Larry Putz was sworn into office on September 9. The meeting agenda is posted below.
