After a successful sweep earned in the season opener on August 27, the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa volleyball team added three more wins to mount a 4-0 start.
Last Thursday at home in an early season sub-section battle, the Jaguars won 3-1 against Parkers Prairie.
Last Friday in a non-conference match played in Belgrade as part of a day promoting support for tennis, volleyball and football, the Jaguars earned a statement win by a 3-0 margin against MACCRAY.
On Tuesday, September 3, the Jaguars made quick work by defeating visiting Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg in a 3-0 sweep.
This week Thursday, the Jaguars travel to Holdingford for the Central Minnesota Conference opener. The Huskers are 2-0 with two sweeps to their credit so far after they beat Rockford and Ogilvie last week.
On Friday and Saturday, the Jaguars compete at the 32-team Southwest Minnesota Challenge in Marshall. They gear up for another border battle with a trip to their southerly neighbors, New London-Spicer, next Tuesday. The Wildcats swept Paynesville Area 3-0 on Tuesday. The Jaguars host Kimball Area on Thursday, September 12.
