The county fairs of Pope County and Stearns County are in full swing in Glenwood and Sauk Centre, respectively. These fairs officially kicked off on Wednesday, July 31. The full schedules of their events were published in the July 25 and August 1 issues of the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper.
The attached videos features the Livewire band performing at the Sauk Herald bandshell at the Stearns County Fairgrounds on Friday, August 2; also views from the 4-H animal buildings that afternoon.
Additional county fair coverage will be added here on Sunday, August 4 and will also follow in the August 8 and August 15 issues of the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper. The newspaper continues to battle the inflation crisis going on in America, so the 2024 county fair coverage will be scaled back from what readers are used to from past years.
