Registration starts at 9 a.m., and you can come any time before noon and register and participate in the event before lunch. Stations included: trap shooting, pistol shooting, rifle shooting, BB gun shooting, muzzle loader shooting and archery. Youth can also build wood duck houses and bring home. All kids get a FREE Tshirt, pop, lunch and a door prize! Kids should be accompanies by a parent or guardian. NO guns are allowed in, as guns are supplied for the event under strict supervision of the adult volunteers.

The phrase "Jake's Day" represents an acronym that stands for "Juniors Acquiring Knowledge, Ethics and Sportsmanship" promoted by the National Wild Turkey Federation. Their website is https://www.nwtf.org.
