For the third straight season, the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa baseball team advanced to the Section 6A championship game. The Jaguars earned that feat by defeating Long Prairie-Grey Eagle 13-3 in five innings in the elimination bracket final on June 6 in Clarissa. B-B-E's appearance in the section finals marked the fourth time in the past five seasons that they made it to the championship game (2019, 2022, 2023, 2024). With the win over LP-GE, the Jaguars advanced to face once-beaten Parkers Prairie that same day. After eight tense, action-packed innings, the Panthers punched their ticket to the Class 1A state tournament for the first time since 2018 with an 11-10 win.
