The annual Bonanza Valley Days celebration in Brooten is coming next on July 8, 9, 10 and 11 in 2027! Spread the word and mark your calendars! The 2027 BVD grand parade starts at 1:30 p.m. in Brooten on Sunday, July 11, 2027.

The annual Belgrade August Fest is coming on August 12-15 (Thursday to Sunday) in the summer of 2027. The 2027 August Fest grand parade starts at 4 p.m. in Belgrade on Saturday, August 14.

Brooten City Council meeting
The Brooten City Council will meet in regular session on Monday, September 14 at 7 p.m. at the city hall meeting chambers in downtown Brooten. The meeting is open to the public. Belgrade Lions Fish Fry
The Belgrade Lions invites everyone to their upcoming fish fry night at The Spot in downtown Belgrade. They will be serving all-you-can eat fish from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Meal prices: $12 for adults and for kids ages 10 and under it's $7. Serving: fish, baked beans, potato salad, bread. A Lions meat raffle also takes place starting at 5 p.m., and the Lions fall raffle drawing will take place at 9 p.m. at the same location that night. Proceeds from this event will go towards the Belgrade city park bathroom and shelter project.

Hope Lutheran Church Fall 'Vintage Wedding' Bazaar
Hope Lutheran Church of Sunburg invites everyone to their Vintage Wedding fall bazaar on Saturday, October 3 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. They have much to see on this day, and a great luncheon will be served simultaneously in their spacious fellowship hall. The Hope Lutheran bazaar includes a bakery shoppe (lefse and other Scandinavian goodies), garden produce, jams, jellies, salsa, freezer meals plus crafts, cards, napkins and a book sale. The quilt raffle takes place at 1 p.m. to conclude the event (winner need not be present). The luncheon includes 2 kinds of soup, ham and turkey sandwiches, macaroni salad, Rommegrot and a wide variety of homemade pies.

Elrosa Fire Department Steak Fry and raffle
The Elrosa Fire Department's fall steak fry and cash raffle fundraiser is coming on Saturday, October 10 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, where they will be serving in the church's spacious basement. The steak fry, which includes a take-out option, runs from 4 to 8 p.m. The cash raffle starts at 8 p.m. Tickets for the steak fry are $20 per person. The address is 302 State Road, Elrosa, MN. (Cash raffle winners need not be present to win.)

Crow River Lutheran church fall supper and auction
Crow River Lutheran church, south of Belgrade on Highway 71, invites everyone to their fall soup and sandwich supper fundraiser with their always-entertaining live auction on Saturday, October 10. The supper will be served beginning at 4 p.m., and the live auction with Ziemer Auction Service begins at 7 p.m. sharp!

St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church fall supper
The St. Francis de Sales Catholic parish in Belgrade invites everyone to their fall sausage and pancake supper on Sunday, October 25. They are serving all-you-can-eat style at their Parish hall from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Everyone welcome! Dine-in or take-out. Price: adults $12, children ages 5 to 12 are $6, and children ages 4 and younger eat free. The church is located at 541 Martin Avenue in the heart of Belgrade.

Lutheran Free Spirits youth group fall turkey dinner
The Free Spirits youth group at Big Grove-Crow River-Grace Lutheran parish invites everyone to their fall turkey dinner, which is on Sunday, November 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Crow River Lutheran church in rural Belgrade. This is a free will donation event. On the menu: turkey, real mashed potatoes, gravy, coleslaw, corn, bread, beverages and pie. Proceeds from this event will be used to purchase Christmas presents for local children in need and for youth mission trips. It is a Thrivent-sponsored event.
