Belgrade-Brooten Police Department receives donation from Bayer Built

The Belgrade-Brooten police department recently received a generous donation from Bayer Built Woodworks towards the cost of their body camera program.

Police Chief Casey Jansky reported the news to the B-B Police Board at their March 19 meeting in Belgrade.

"They have been a great supporter of our police department, and they want to continue with the relationship by assisting us with monetary donations towards projects," said Jansky. "I can't thank them enough for their support over the years."

Jansky was also pleased to report that the police department received a Speed Sign grant he applied for that paid for a new electronic sign that now sits at the corner of School Avenue and Second Street; this was installed on March 12 and is a $2,000 unit that did not cost the city, school or police department anything.
