The Rooney family invites everyone to a TWO-day celebration of St. Patrick's Day on Saturday and Sunday, March 16-17, as the Padua Pub hosts this exciting celebration for the 44th straight year. Green beer served both days! The weekend features TWO Shamrock hunts at 3 p.m. on Saturday at 12 p.m. on Sunday. They will be serving Irish Stew and corned beef sandwiches starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. on Sunday. In the Padua Pub bar both days, DJ K Welle will play music starting at 3 p.m. The ever-famous annual St. Patrick's Day parade will start at 1 p.m. sharp on County Road 18 on the south end of Padua. Prizes will be awarded, and judging is by everyone!
The Padua Pub will serve an Irish Buffet in the banquet hall on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. with this menu: corned beef and cabbage, chicken, Irish potatoes, carrots, parsnips, shepherd's pie, creamed cabbage and more.
