The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa girls' basketball team suffered their first loss after a 3-0 start last Thursday, December 7 on the home court. Central Minnesota Christian of Prinsburg overcame a 7-point deficit in the second half in a 58-56 win, their fourth in a row.
The Jaguars got back in the win column with a 60-51 section win at Upsala on Tuesday, December 12.
This week the Jaguars (5-1, 2-0) hosted Kimball on Thursday and earned a 61-46 win. Next is a trip to Paynesville on Friday, December 15 for a Central Minnesota Conference girls/boys doubleheader. The girls' C and JV games are at 4:15 p.m., and the varsity game is set to begin at 5:30 p.m.
