Just two shows remain for B-B-E's fall musical!

The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa high school's theater group completely smashed it with a terrific opening night performance of The Addams Family - School Edition behind a crowd that was at about 65 percent capacity with around 175 guests at Olson Auditorium. The cast of this fall's B-B-E musical is the youngest, most inexperienced cast that has ever fielded a musical at B-B-E. You would never know that, however, by the remarkable performance they pulled off on Friday night. The singing, dancing and interaction was incredible. Savannah Finken as Wednesday Addams, Tia Nelson as Morticia, Jeffrey Cihlar as Lucas Bieneke, Kora Martinez as Pugsley, Abbey Schoumaker as Grandma Addams and Maddy Carroll as Uncle Fester all had remarkable performances. The entire cast has so much to be proud of from opening night.
Altogether, the cast includes 17 students, and an additional student is assisting with technical production. Directors are Steph DenHartog and Sean Biehn, and assisting them is 2023 B-B-E graduate Dylan Hirman. Maddy Carroll (Uncle Fester) and Jeffrey Cihlar (Lucas Bieneke) are the lone seniors on the cast.
Show times are 7 p.m. for the Saturday night performance, and the Sunday matinee show starts at 2 p.m. Adult tickets are just $7. Children and students cost $5 each, and senior citizens cost $5 each.

UPDATE: early on Saturday evening, just 55 tickets have been presold. The auditorium seats approximately 270. Please spread the word and help the musical students fill the seats!

Fall musical synopsis...
Wednesday Addams, known for her love of darkness, has fallen in love with a sweet man from a seemingly respectable and ordinary family. As Wednesday falls in love, family members begin to find out, forcing Gomez, her father, to keep a secret from his love, Morticia.
