John A. Sluss, formerly of Brooten, MN, was a Vietnam War veteran.
John Anthony Sluss (80) formerly of Brooten, MN died August 3rd in his new home of Urbana, IL after a fall.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Martha (Wilhite) and Anthony Sluss; and his sister Susan Sluss.
John leaves behind his wife, Beverly (Brown) Sluss and his daughter Colleen (Jon) Gorman. He also leaves behind a brother Michael (Ellen) Sluss and sister Angie Raddatz.
John was a Vietnam veteran, plus was in the Army Reserves for 22 years. He was an avid fixer of machines and an organic farmer. Donations in his name can be made to a veterans or organic farming charity of your choice.
His memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the V.F.W. Post No. 4847, 104 Franklin Ave NE, St. Cloud, MN from 2 to 4 p.m.
