*I had one mistake in that interview...in 2012-2013, the boys' basketball team lost 66-59 to Wheaton/Herman-Norcross in the sub-section semifinals. It is true that it was a game that I will never forget. I swear it was just a 3-point loss...but indeed the Warriors won by 7 points back on March 9, 2013. I did forget that final seven-point spread. It was just B-B-E's second loss of that season with a 25-2 record.
I did nail W/HN's record of 17-8...that was their record coming out of that win over our heavily-favored Jaguars at the P.E. Center at University of Minnesota-Morris. The Warrors then lost in the sub-section finals 66-45 to Battle Lake to finish 17-9 overall.
