The Belgrade, Brooten and Elrosa zip code areas posted a two for new COVID-19 cases in the April 21 report by the Minnesota Department of Health. The two new cases were from the Belgrade zip code area.
This ends a streak of three weeks in which the MDH reported no new COVID-19 cases for these zip code areas. The last COVID-19 case was posted in the March 24 report.
At this point, an educated guess says that any MDH case reported is due to mandatory testing taking place at health care facilities or with individuals working with high-risk patients. Results from at-home COVID-19 tests are not included in these reports.
