The fall musical is almost here! Coming to the stage of Olson Auditorium at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa high school. Show times are 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday. Advanced tickets are encouraged but not required. You can get tickets at Bonanza Valley State Bank in Brooten, Kensington Bank in Belgrade and Central Minnesota Credit Union in Belgrade during their business hours. Below is an iMovie production that promotes the musical and includes images and footage from rehearsals in the past couple of weeks. It also has exclusive interviews of cast members and Director Clark, who joins Director Elmhorst in leading the musical. Both are English teachers at B-B-E high school.
The work to produce this fall's musical began before the first day of school, all the way back in late August. Members of the cast and crew have put in a mountain of hours getting Little Shop of Horrors ready for the big stage. They are excited to see big crowds each night!
The musical Little Shop of Horrors is based on a 1960 film by Roger Corman, book by Howard Ashman, music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Ashman.
