An item has been missing in Brooten for a local gentleman since Wednesday of this week. Here's the description: a red oval ruby-colored stone, not an actual ruby, that fits in a men's ring. It has great sentimental value, and a reward is being offered for help finding it. Please call 320-346-2275 if you can help. It could have been lost at or near The Local Pantry, the Brooten Post Office or at the Bonanza Valley State Bank.
