Jake's Day youth sporting event is July 31

The annual Jakes Day youth sporting event is Saturday, July 31 at the Belgrade Sportsmen's Club for all area children ages 3 to 17, featuring supervised use of small firearms (shot gun and hand guns) plus bow and arrows.

The event is free!

Just bring yourself and be ready to have a good time in an environment where safety comes first. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with shooting to start by 10 a.m. Lunch at noon followed by prizes for all participants. Sponsored by the National Wildlife Turkey Federation and the Bonanza Valley Royal Strutters and a total of 75 area business sponsors. The full list of business sponsors was published in the July 22 and July 29 issues of the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper.
