BOOM! Zero, Zero, Zero!

May 27 COVID-19 report shows a one week increase of zero for B-B-E zip codes

For the second time in 2021, the numbers zero, zero and zero have been released by the Minnesota Department of Health for the weekly increase of COVID-19 cases in the zip codes of Brooten, Belgrade and Elrosa. Zero for Brooten, zero for Belgrade and zero for Elrosa in a population of about 4,300 men, women and children.

Just shy of two weeks ago, a spectacular indoor graduation ceremony was held at B-B-E high school with a celebratory atmosphere. This latest news from the MDH also brings great cause to celebrate. This also happened on March 11, 2021, when the MDH reported no new cases had been found in the B-B-E area.

Even more good news: the surrounding area shows exceptionally good numbers, with many zip code areas also reporting zero new cases in the last week. See below.

Glenwood - 3

Kerkhoven - 1

Murdock - 1

Sunburg - none

New London - none

Spicer - one
