Three areas are available for parking during Highway 55 construction in Brooten

Stop by the Local Pantry in Brooten for unique frozen assets freezer meals, salads, gifts and more! Store hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The website for the Local Pantry is: http://www.thelocalpantry.net.

The Local Pantry is a quaint little shop that specializes in salads, homemade freezer meals, fresh farm eggs and other local items and gifts. Stop by the Local Pantry and see what they have to offer! (1.) Frozen Meals - homemade has never been so easy! We have a large variety of freezer meals. Made from scratch right here in our kitchen. Ready for you to take home and cook in your oven or crockpot. (2.) Salads - Broccoli Bacon, Macaroni, and Potato are some of the salads you will find available on a regular basis. Other salads are available seasonally or upon request. (3.) Gifts and more - Handcrafted soaps and lotions, woven rugs, aprons, and melted wine bottles are some of the gift items you will find here at The Local Pantry.

Parking update: visitors to the Local Pantry can park at three nearby locations: to the west on Pleasant Avenue, which has easy access from the north on the eastbound lane of the Highway 55 detour (going west from the KaDe Shack); also in a parking lot in the alley located just next to the Local Pantry, with access also from the north on the Highway 55 detour as well as when traveling from the west (going east) on the eastbound lane of Highway 55, in that case you have to turn into the alley by the Local Pantry; and finally, parking on main street in Brooten and then walking the short walk west to the Local Pantry.
