Subsection meet held on April 8
The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa speech team competed in the Sub-Section 5A-South meet last Thursday night, April 8, and they turned in an excellent showing for a team with no seniors on the roster.
Finishing in first place in their categories for B-B-E were Amber Stephani in Discussion, Lily Kallevig in Extemporaneous Reading and Aidan Johnson in Informative.
Numerous other Top-Four finishes helped boost the team to third place out of five teams in the final standings. Video from the team standings announcement is posted below.

The Section 5A state-qualifying meet will be held on Saturday, April 17. The Class 1A state speech meet will be held virtually on April 24.
