Department of Health has no answer for continued long-term care deaths

During the Friday, March 12 press conference at noon with Governor Tim Walz, the Minnesota Department of Health Commissioner had no answer beyond guessing on why long-term care residents are still dying in spite of vaccination efforts going on for the past two months.

MDH Commissioner Jan Malcolm only replied with guessing. Incomplete answers. She stumbled over her tongue and was not able to reply to one of the very most important questions that any journalist could ask right now.

Malcolm's only real reply was that she believes (without citing data) that not all workers or residents at long-term care facilities are being vaccinated. That does not answer why deaths are still happening in those facilities, because it does not determine whether or not those who are dying have or have not been vaccinated.
