Shown is a view in the B-B-E high school northeast parking lot facing the new construction area on Thursday, February 11. The brick of the new walls is seen in the background. This area will include new classroom and office space, a new secured entrance plus an expansive loading dock.
While the recent bitter cold weather has slowed or even temporarily paused work at both buildings, the remodel and construction projects at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa schools soldiers on in early February. Below is a video of 1995 B-B-E graduate Joe Radermacher with Breitbach Construction lifting steel beams off of a trailer on Tuesday, February 9. The load-bearing steel will be used in the addition to the south wing of the elementary.
Work at the high school is making great progress with the walls going up on the new northeast entrance/office/classroom/loading dock area. (See photo below)
