Class 6A state shooting meet held on June 15 in Alexandria
The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Clay Trapshooting team is in its fourth year of existence. This spring the team of 53 students in grades 7-12 competed in Class 6A in Minnesota's nine-class format.
Just as it has for the past two seasons, the turnout on this year's team represents one in six students at B-B-E high school.
On Saturday, June 15, 38 members of the team competed in the Class 6A state tournament at the Alexandria shooting range.
In the team standings, B-B-E placed as follows by division with score:
• Novice, 6th out of 13, 332.
• Jr. Varsity, 24th out of 26, 391.
• Varsity, 17th out of 26, 451.
Overall, with all divisions rolled together, B-B-E placed 18th out of 27 teams with a score of 451.
