The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Area Jaycees invites everyone to their 10th annual Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Belgrade V.F.W. The fundraising event this year has a "Roaring 20s" theme and will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. that night.
A portion of proceeds will benefit the B-B-E Food Shelf with the MN Food Share program.
Following the chili cook-off, DJ Al Braegelman will play at the V.F.W.
Team entry information: entry fee is $50 with a roaster of chili; set up is the same day at 5 p.m .; please register by Friday, March 29 to be guaranteed a table; to register, call Tony Nemmers (320-349-0150) or e-mail him at < tnemmers@hotmail.com >.
For the public: admission is just $5, and the admission price gets you tickets to vote on the chili. Food Shelf donations are also accepted. You can vote for your favorite chili and best fire department chili (two categories). Prizes will be given to people's choice plus three prizes picked by a panel of judges.
