B-B-E girls' basketball claims another sub-section crown

The No. 10-ranked Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars had a battle on their hands on Tuesday, March 5 for the Sub-Section 5A-South girls' basketball finals. Facing a tall, scrappy and physical Swanville Bulldogs team, the Jaguars played a terrific game while coming away with a 66-52 win.
B-B-E advances to the Section 5A championship for the third straight year. They will take on a 28-1 Menahga Braves team for a state tournament berth. More information will be posted on March 6 at this web article.
