Special Valentine's event hosted by Central Square and Civic Center
Central Square and Civic Center in Glenwood is excited to host Paul Greene for a special Valentine's Show on Saturday, February 16 at 7 p.m. In a press release, Central Square said:
"Join us for a Valentine weekend special performance by Paul Greene. Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Johnny Mathis, Dean Martin, Doris Day, Judy Garland - the mere mention of their names brings back a treasure trove of music and memories. Come enjoy an evening of romantic standards in the intimacy of a New York cabaret room setting, with music that never goes out of style. Paul studied voice at Concordia College, Moorhead, under Dr. Paul Nesheim. He has sung in many solo and choral settings, including as a member of VocalEssence, under Dr. Phillip Brunelle. He also has studied song interpretation with Tony winner Betty Buckley ("Cats") & participated in a master class with Broadway tenor J. Mark McVey ("Les Miserables"). He is thrilled to be performing at Central Square. Renae Brown will be providing beautiful piano accompaniment and playing selections from the era as well."
Tickets are just $15 per person and are available at the Box Office in downtown Glenwood (near Pizza Ranch), and you can also get tickets by calling 320-634-0400. Space is limited! Also, the ticket price includes a Valentine sweets table and gourmet coffee bar.
