On Saturday, November 3 at Little Falls high school, a battle of volleyball heavyweights played out for almost two hours for a fiercely-challenged outcome. When match point was achieved, the result was a 3-1 win in favor of the 10th-ranked B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team. They defeated No. 5-ranked and defending section champion Pine River-Backus 25-22, 25-20, 18-25, 25-20 to advance to state for the first time since 2010.
