Hall of Fame banquet held at Padua

Tom Zenner and April (Hansen) Gibson, two inductees in the 2018 class of the B-B-E Hall of Fame; both are now ambitious in the business community of the state of California.

Lee Engel (left) and Ralph Engel are shown speaking on behalf of their brother, Orville Engel, at the Hall of Fame banquet on October 6. (Orville had surgery that week and could not attend.) The brothers spoke very fondly of their big brother, referring to him as their hero. "He was an athlete, and he is a man of honor," said Lee. Orville has a sense of humor, once explaining to a teacher why he was late: "I had to take the cow to the neighbor's bull," he said, bringing a round of laughter from his country school mates.
