Mar-Haven Greens' Folds of Honor golf tournament is Sept. 15

Mar-Haven Greens golf course in Colfax Township invites the public to participate in the upcoming, third annual Folds of Honor golf tournament on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 1 p.m.

Mar-Haven Greens, located at 623 Colfax Road N.W., Belgrade, was founded in 2006 and is dedicated to provide recreational golf and activities to all military members, whether they are veterans or active military members as well as their loved ones. Its mission is to "admire and respect our military soldiers and veterans who defend our freedom and put their lives on the line to make our world a better place." Mar-Haven Greens also includes a golf course for handicapped individuals as well as the regular nine.

Proceeds from the upcoming golf fundraiser on Sept. 15 will benefit the Folds of Honor Organization, whose website is foldsofhonor.org. The cost is $50 per person, and this includes a catered meal. Those interested are asked to call Marvin Cottrill (269)-506-6257 for more information or to sign up.
