Goat Ridge in New London adds Model Citizen restaurant

The co-owners of the new Model Citizen the Restaurant business in Goat Ridge Brewing in New London are shown during opening night of their full kitchen services on Thursday, June 28. Over this past winter, construction took place for the large addition to Goat Ridge that culminated with their kitchen open to full steam last week. Mackbee's grandfather was a chef in New Orleans. Model Citizen the Restaurant is a hyper-seasonal, youth farm to table restaurant that offers fresh takes on global food using local, seasonal ingredients. It is a teaching kitchen that uses the power of food to educate and combat social justice issues.
