North American State Bank donated $600 to the food shelf along with other food donations during the March fundraising drive. NASB employees and community members donated $300, and that was matched by NASB. For over 125 years NASB has been a proud supporter of the B-B-E community.
The pool of money sponsors donate to the March Campaign is divided up amongst 300 participating food shelves depending on how much each food shelf raises in March. The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Area Food Shelf collected $18,547.55 and 1,025 pounds during the March 2018 Campaign. Last year, the March campaign collected $16,504 and 800 pounds. The B-B-E Area food shelf board is grateful of the support from the local community. The food shelf encourages any local household in need to come to the food shelf on Wednesdays from 1 to 5 p.m. The food shelf is located at the back of the Glacial Ridge Medical Center.
