Below is the agenda for the Monday, January 22 Brooten city council meeting, the second of two regular monthly meetings for January. Note: all times are approximate and cannot be guaranteed. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.
7 p.m. - Stearns County Attorney Janelle Kendall will give her prosecution report for the calendar year 2017
7:15 p.m. - Police Chief Casey Jansky will provide an update on the police department and provide any additional information as needed from the December 2017 police report.
7:30 p.m. - Brooten Fire Chief Matt Ogdahl will provide an equipment update.
7:45 p.m. - the city council will discuss the Water and Wastewater Conference with maintenance department members Mark Nepsund and Boyce Fischer. The dates are March 6, 7, 8 in St. Cloud.
8 p.m. - a liquor license for the Prairie View Community Golf Course will be discussed (dates March 15 to Nov. 1, 2018)
8:15 p.m. - a request for a special meeting will be heard to review the Pavement Management Program with Bollig, Inc. engineer Brian Bollig. A Pavement Management Program meeting will be in Alexandria on February 23.
The meeting will conclude with council members providing feedback they have received from the community on a variety of issues throughout the past two weeks.
