Smooth Magic 107 FM Sports Banquet is May 3 in Glenwood

The sixth annual KMGK sports banquet will be held on Wednesday, May 3 at Lakeside Ballroom in Glenwood. This is an opportunity for the Glenwood radio station to honor area athletes from Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa, Minnewaska Area and Osakis plus scholar-athletes from Benson, Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg and West Central Area.

The keynote speaker will be Darrell Thompson, executive director of Bolder Options, which focuses on healthy youth development. Thompson is a color commentator for Gopher football, and he is also the Minnesota Gophers all-time leading rusher and was a first-round draft pick by the Green Bay Packers.

The public is invited. No tickets will be sold at the door! You can purchase a ticket ($12 each) at the station or at the B-B-E high school by April 28. A sign-up sheet is at the B-B-E high school, and April 28 is the last day you can purchase tickets.
