Plans are being made for a long, long list of activities at the annual Christmas in Brooten and Santa Day celebration on Saturday, December 10. A revamped schedule has been worked out through cooperation and planning between the Brooten Commercial Club, the B-B-E Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts along with the help of Ka-De Shack and the Brooten Steakhouse (Classic Co.)
The basic schedule is as follows:
12:30 - 1 p.m. B-B-E high school carolers (at Brooten Steakhouse);
1 - 3 p.m. Santa & Friends come to town at Brooten Steakhouse (Batman, Belle, Cinderella and more!)
1:30 - 2:30 - FREE sleigh rides on Main Street
2 - 3 p.m. activities at Brooten Steakhouse, followed by a FREE movie showing "Beauty and the Beast Christmas" from 3 to 3:45 at Brooten Steakhouse (theater).
4 - 4:45 - kids bingo at Ka-De Shack
4 - 7 p.m. Cub Scouts chili feed / bake sale at Ka-De Shack.
6 p.m. - Holiday Light Parade on Main Street
7 p.m. - Caroling, crackling fires & S'mores to wrap up the day of fun in Brooten.
