Brink's Beer Joint brings hundreds to Swift Falls

The annual fall Turkey Fest activities at Brink's Beer Joint in Swift Falls on Saturday (Sept. 17) brought hundreds to town on a day with pleasant temperatures and full sunshine.
Brink's Beer Joint owner Ben Honebrink reported that over 140 tickets were sold for the turkey cook-off contest. Seven fire departments (Chokio, Donnelly, Cyrus, Murdock, Clontarf, Sunburg and Benson) battled in a firemen's fire fight contest. The Charity Parade was also a big hit.
