The Pope County Humane Society staff have reported that dogs south of Glenwood and in the Brooten area are being taken from their homes when they are outside unattended. Staff are asking dog owners to be alert and keep an eye on pets.
“Some are making it to the shelter, but not all of them,” said PCHS manager Nancy Erickson. “We have been informed by some of the owners that the dog’s collar and ID tags have been removed.”
If you find any dogs or if you’re missing one, please call PCHS at 320-634-4761.
