The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Area Food Shelf received a $1,000 donation from American Family Insurance agent Glory Schreifels on Wednesday, Dec. 16.
American Family Life Insurance Company and its agents partnered to use Life Insurance Awareness month in September and the month of October as a way to benefit local communities. American Family agents around the country made donations to various charitable organizations of their choice, based on the number of life insurance policies their clients purchased this fall.
Agent Glory Schreifels chose the B-B-E Food Shelf because “everyone deserves good, healthy meals.”
Schreifels added, “At this time of the year, it’s especially important to focus on the needs of others. I am proud to support my community through this donation, and I encourage others to do the same.”
