In Minnesota and Stearns County, most overdose deaths were a result of opioids. In 2019, 11 out of 15 (73 percent) Stearns County drug overdoses were due to opioids. Long-time high school science teacher Keith Clementson has passed away. His obituary was received by The Voice from his family on Tuesday this week (March 12). A celebration of life in his honor will be held on Friday, July 19 this coming summer from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Paynesville R.O.S.E. Center. For the 34th year dating back to 1990, Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa school has hosted the annual Sno-Daze coronation. In the early years, this was held at B-B-E senior high school in Brooten, and after 1995, it has been held continuously at the B-B-E high school in Belgrade. Sno-Daze was not held in the winter of 2020-2021 due to the pandemic, but it resumed in February of 2022.
