Terrace Mill Foundation annual membership meeting
The annual meeting of membership for the Terrace Mill Foundation will be held on Thursday, November 14 from 8 to 9 p.m. at the Pope County Museum in Glenwood. (Note: this is also going to be streamed via Google Meet, contact The Voice publisher for those details.) The TMF meeting of the membership is held annually. In this meeting, you can hear the report of the past year's accomplishments, renew (or start) your membership, meet other members and vote for the 2025 Board of Directors. Membership prices: annual individual $20, lifetime individual $100. Membership fees help support the mission of the Terrace Mill Foundation, including restoration and upkeep of the Historic Terrace Mill.

The Brooten American Legion invites everyone to their fall pancake breakfast on Sunday, November 17 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the former Legion hall building on Central Avenue, which is now Bucky's Bar Pickles. The breakfast will be served in the regular dining hall. Further details to follow.

Grief Support group in Belgrade
Whether you are grieving a recent loss or one from years ago, all are welcome to meet with others who have known similar losses, including loss of a parent, child, sibling, spouse, job, or health. This group meets once each month for 90 minutes on the third Tuesday of the month. Their next meeting is Tuesday, November 20 at the Big Grove/Crow River/Grace Lutheran parish office in Belgrade from 6:30 to 8 p.m. (downtown Belgrade at the municipal building). Tree of Life celebration in support of Glacial Ridge Hospice care
The public is invited for a special Tree of Life celebration on Thursday, November 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood. This celebration of life will serve as a time to remember those who have meant so much to us. The public is invited to participate in the ceremony by lighting a candle for their loved one. Live music will be provided by local talent, and refreshments will be served after the service. If you wish to donate to Glacial Ridge Hospice by honoring or memorializing someone at the event, please contact Glacial Ridge Hospice at 320-634-2221. Bonanza Valley Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club annual banquet
The 26th annual banquet and raffle for the Bonanza Valley Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club will be held at the Padua Pub on Friday, November 22. Everyone invited, even non-club members! They will be serving Dave's famous chicken and ribs, and meal tickets are available at the door. This banquet and raffle begins with social hour from 6 to 7 p.m., and the dinner will be served at 7. The grand prize is $10,000 cash for the grand winner. Club members are selling tickets, and you can purchase tickets at the Bonanza Valley State Bank in Brooten during banking hours. The drawing takes place that night at 9 p.m.

Everyone is invited to the Big Grove-Crow River-Grace Lutheran church Free Spirits youth group turkey dinner on Sunday, November 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Crow River Lutheran church south of Belgrade. Free will offering! Serving: turkey, real mashed potatoes, gravy, coleslaw, corn, bread, beverages and pie. Takeouts available! The Brooten Activities Club and a host of Brooten-area businesses invite everyone to the Brooten Santa Day events in downtown Brooten on Saturday, December 7. Activities coming to Marcia's Bar and Grill, Lucky Shots Bowling Alley and the KaDe Shack.
