    On Wednesday, November 21, members of the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa second grade performed a skit on the life of John Chapman, better known as Johnny Appleseed, was an American pioneer nurseryman who introduced apple trees to large parts of Pennsylvania, Ontario, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois, as well as the northern counties of present-day West Virginia.   • Santa Claus visits Elrosa

    Around 60 children from the Elrosa area enjoyed time with Santa Claus on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church's parish center community room. It was a marvelous time for kids to enjoy cookies and milk, Christmas-themed crafts and a chance to tell Santa Claus what they would like to get for Christmas.     The annual Belgrade Santa Days is coming again on Saturday, December 15 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Belgrade Municipal Hall.
