On Sunday, November 1, the combined congregations of Trinity Lutheran in Grove Lake and St. John's Lutheran in Villard, packed shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. The group filled 61 shoeboxes with items like: notebooks, pencils, crayons, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, washcloths, shirts, underwear, toys, hair items, stuffed animals, and candy.
