    New Miss Brooten royalty has been crowned for 2021-2022 after the pageant and coronation was held on Saturday, July 10 at the Brooten Pavilion. Morgan Schwinghammer, who will be a senior next year at Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa, is the new Miss Brooten. She is the daughter of Darin and Marci Schwinghammer from Colfax Township.   • Elrosa baseball inducts three more to Hall of Fame

    Dave Kampsen, Donnie Lenarz and Willard "Bucky" Buckentine (posthumously) were inducted into the Elrosa baseball team's Hall of Fame on July 9 at Saints Field. Dave Kampsen, an Elrosa native, played for the Saints from 1975 to 1995 and was a key member of the program's first amateur state tournament team in 1988.
