Bonanza Valley Days 2019 is kicking off on Thursday, July 11 with a beautiful kick-off evening featuring Worship in the Park church service followed by a Concert in the Park. Bonanza Valley Days tee-shirts are in! An order of 200 BVD tee-shirts are on sale starting on Saturday afternoon, July 6 at the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper office. T-shirt sales are continuing on Thursday, July 11 during the day until at least 6 p.m. Hours for Friday and Saturday will be posted on Friday morning (July 12)...but the public can expect the office to be open on Friday night during part of the Dee-Jay Sounds street dance. As of Thursday, July 11, 2019, Brooten Bucks are no longer valid as a way to pay for goods or services from the 2018 business members of the Brooten Commercial Club. This stems from a bank-related order put into play on July 8 by the State of Minnesota stating that that all remaining funds in the general fund checking account of the Brooten Commercial Club will be seized.
