The historic Terrace Mill was the site of the Native American Arts Festival during a sunny, windy afternoon on Saturday, May 19. Close to 150 people of all ages attended the celebration of the heritage of those who were here before us and still among us! The day included authentic Native art, food, performances and vendors. Wow! We are pleased to announce that Central Square was chosen to receive the "Nonprofit of the Year" award by the Glenwood Lakes area Chamber of Commerce. We are proud to have been recognized at the annual meeting and banquet this past Tuesday. We are grateful to the Chamber and its members for all the work they do to promote business in our community. A spring choral and band concert was held on May 14 at the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa high school. Awards were given to students in the junior and senior high bands from the music teachers. See video below for a glimpse of the concert....
